The main idea for this story is that there is a book called the Atlas of Time that changes and displays information regarding when time travellers have meddled with time. A syndicate of some kind wants to alter time so that the society conforms to how they believe it should be. The father in the story is the Atlas’s guardian however he is captured and it is up to his three children to try and save him and along with it history.
