Resentful towards his prey and questioning his abilities ever since the death of his protege, a hunter pursues a family protecting a monster they believe to be their deceased matriarch.

As it stands I am much more interested in the family who believes a monster is their reincarnated grandmother. Is the man a game hunter? Why does he go after the family? There are two plots happening in this logline and they are currently not jiving together.
