It’s not clear, not obvious how stealing the artifact is necessary to? heal his son.? Is it for the money he can make selling it?? Or for magical healing properties in the artifact? (The genre is fantasy which makes that a possibility.)
And is Cain the warlord, or someone the warlord sends to do his hatchet work?
He starts off to steal it for the money and then by the last issue (this is for a comic book) it’s the healing properties. Cain is the warlord
