      If the “soon-to-be stepmother” has rejected the playboy, what is his new goal? Does he marry the nubile fiance to be near her step-mother? (A reverse Lolita story.) Or does he try to win the stepmother over before the wedding? Or does he call off the wedding to pursue the stepmother? Or does he forget the stepmother and accept the woman who loves him?
