After kidnapping the man who killed his family in a hit and run, a vengeful father’s moral debate about whether or not he should kill the man comes alive via a series of 1940s serials he listens to on his iPod.

Liked the variation where the movie plays in his head better.

But either way, why not he’s hunting down the man (externally) while debating the issue (internally)?? And maybe the internal moral argument consists of his editing his a film, with different endings, different dialogue to rationalize, determine the various choices.?

Which ending? is ‘final cut’ that resolves his moral conflict and the external story?

      fwiw.
