      This is a very good point Livejosh, Yesterday I was looking for a logline that makes this point, for the director this was the essencial point to shape the movie and give it it’s unique feel. I know that I once read such a version but I can not find it annymore. All New York districts have their own flavor and therefore their own gangs. The Warrior fight their way straight across the city, often running for dear live!! The logline also does not tell that all gangs come from the same city, including The Warriors.

      Perhaps more information would reveal the Storyworld better.

      When the grandmaster of all gangs is killed, The Warriors are labeled as the culprits, now with every gang in the city after them they must battle the streets to clear their name and reach home turf > Coney Island.
