Is this to boot up a TV or streaming video series or is it for a one-off film?

The first sentence needs to go. The incident that killed her parents (incident is too vague, if this is a killer that will show up then tell us), and that incident isn’t what brought her to the FBI, it’s her skills. So that’s backstory, and not a part of a logline.

Start with “A blind female psychologist with heightened other senses, is hired to consult for the FBI in order to solve XXX cases” – fill in the specific details that make her talent useful.

I would assume this is a TV show, and it would certainly work, but I would like to know about the (preferably ironic) partner who she is forced to work with. Like we see in The Mentalist or Monk or Numbers.

I am curious as to how she would be able to more than compensate for her blindness with other senses.? A hyper-acute sense of hearing would only work if she’s present at the scene of the crime, at the time of the crime.? A hyper-acute sense of smell might work — she’s could be a human blood hound.

Otherwise she would have to have hyper-developed cognitive abilities to adduce and deduce from the evidence –? a handicapped female version of Sherlock Holmes.? Or it’s just plain magic: she develops an extrasensory ability to envision what happened and who dunnit.

And agree with Paul Clarke that because of her handicap she would have? to be teamed up with a partner who can compensate for her handicap.? And, of course, it would have to be an Odd Couple relationship.

I agree with the previous comments.

You got a good character. In case you are going for a feature film (vs a TV show), use the formula’s structure to mention specific inciting incident and action.

“When the FBI hires her as a consultant, a blind psychologist with a heightened intuition must unravel the conspiracy behind a brutal murder case.”

Heightened other senses would be useful to an action hero like Daredevil. If she is more into getting into the mind of murderers, an intuition would be more useful.
