A very topical choice for me.
My interest in it extends beyond the mere mechanics of how the plot is assembled. I have quite a vivid dream life, including many lucid dreams. And in a story I am working on, lucid dreams plays a pivotal role in the arc of the character and the denouement of the plot.
Hi dpg,
You told us about this in other topics. This is why I choose this one.
Beta version 2.0 of the logline:
A “psycho-thief” who specializes in stealing secrets buried of the mind must reverse engineer his m.o. and plant a secret in order to overcome the secret that haunts his own tormented mind.
I have yet to get to the bottom of the plot. (And I’ve read the published script.) I dunno, but it seems to me there’s some slight of writing/directorial hand going on in the last act.
Be that as it may, I’m impressed how in Act 1, Christopher Nolan efficiently and effectively sets up and links both the protagonist’s professional goal (inception) and his personal need (get home to his kids).
