“At the crossroads” is a crucial moment in the story, but it’s only a moment, a single dot on a plot line.? Loglines are about scores, hundreds of moments that cumulatively constitute a course of action for a plot line extending from? FADE IN: to? FADE OUT. The vector of? that plot line is determined by the protagonist’s objective goal, what he wants to accomplish, what he must accomplish.

So he finds himself at a crossroads:? then what?? What must he do? What becomes his objective goal as a result of encountering someone else with the same problem?

While it’s good that you have a name for the character, it does little to describe the character to the audience. How has struggling with dyslexia affected him as an individual? How does it affect his interactions with others?

Beyond that, the protagonist needs an action. He needs something to do.
