Visiting Earth to save it from destruction an Alien has a near fatal accident after which he develops super human powers as a paraplegic.

Firstly, is this a comedy? I ask because I’m assuming with an alien’s ability to travel light years to this planet, I’m assuming it will already have possessed power that surpasses humans, thus any paraplegic state would be quickly bettered (?). However, if a comedy, perhaps identifying the reasons why it is thus (i.e. how the accident came about along with the resulting injury). And saving Earth from destruction from whom? Ourselves?

No its a sci fi drama – it will have lighter moments but is definitely not a comedy! Yes he has super human powers but they are deliberately reduced before he arrives on Earth (to protect his identity) and he does overcome his disability in the course of the story line by developing super powered arm, neck and shoulder muscles. It is too much to include in a 25 word logline. Yes saving the Earth people form self destruction – bio spiritual destruction.
