waking up dead to realize his victims now hunting for him, a bounty hunter must work with the only guy grateful-to-be-dead, in order to reach NIRVANA INC. (also possible title)

(needles to say) they learn to relate as the film progresses and the hunter learns why his partner is indifferent (thankful infact)

Why does a bounty hunter have to clear his conscience? Bounty hunters chase after bad guys. I think you need an adjective that shows us he was a bit shady in real life so we understand why he needs to arc as a character.

The hook/ irony I think is going to be in how you turn the tables on your hero, e.g. the bounty hunter learns in the afterlife that the man who employed him was actually the biggest crook and now he has to somehow bring him to justice in order to reach Nirvana. (Just an example).

      >>>and after I remove ?bounty? from the logline it falls apart, since why would anyone root for this hunter character, with so many victims??

What if he’s a serial murderer?

Or a serial rapist?? IAnd all the victims seeking revenge are women.)
