      Consider the following:
      1. Be specific with the breed to orientate the reader.
      2. Who is Sofia? At the least “A young woman…”
      3. The title is puzzling as adoption is a choice. She can just take the abandoned dog to the pound – end of story. Is there a long-term situation?

      Example:
“A cat lady must [Action/GOAL] when [Major Event] e.g., stuck with an abandoned pit bull during a pandemic lockdown”

Hope you find this constructive, keep going!

        Hello Odie, thanks the coment!

        How about:

Sofia, a young sportswoman and cat lover, watches a Bull Terrier dog being thrown out of a car.
Worried rescues the animal, despite the cat colony she has at home.

        3. The title is puzzling as adoption is a choice. She can just take the abandoned dog to the pound – end of story. Is there a long-term situation?

throughout the narrative, she tries to take the animal to the kennel.

the character’s dilemma in the story is to hold the dog in a house full of cats, while
look for a new home for the abandoned animal
