So much seems to be happening in the logline I’m not sure what the story is. How does he control water? Was he gifted and if so, why?. He’s acquaphobic (hydrophobic?). How does his water ability/fear have any relation with one who controls fire? Mentioning that your protag. is a janitor bears what on the story. Maybe re-work to read something like, “A man with the ability to control water must overcome his fear of heat to save his love from one with the talent for manipulating fire”.

It’s not bad. I can see the conflict and the fear. I guess the first thing to pop into my head was why a janitor? aquaphobic is that a fear of all water? I am assuming janitors use water to clean?

Hydrophobia (Rabies) ? especially a set of symptoms of the later stages of an infection, in which the victim has difficulty swallowing, shows panic when presented with liquids to drink, and cannot quench their thirst.
An abnormal or unnatural dread of water.
Aquaphobia is a persistent and abnormal fear of water. Aquaphobia is a specific phobia that involves a level of fear that is beyond the patient?s control or that may interfere with daily life.
      either one covers the phobia

Good point. To me his fear is more of having his head below water, everyday use is okay. I’ll work on some more.
I’ll play with it some more, his occupation doesn’t work well with the logline
      Cheers.

I’m agreeing with Heather. I’m not sure producers are imaginative enough to understand what you mean by “control water.” Maybe you should say something specific about what he can do with water. Also, your title “Horn of the Leviathan” doesn’t seem to give us any hints as to what the script is about, which you might want to consider.

      Hey guys

what do you think of this one…

“When an timid janitor discovers he has the power to command water, he must find a mythical artifact to save his fiance from a fire manipulating madman”

      to vague?
