      Is this set in some dystopian future setting?

      My first reaction is Catholics may have a problem with this set up , and that?s a large population you could turn off like all of Latin America:-) Maybe don?t say Vatican, something like the Vatican?

      And the ?deadly game show? makes me go directly to Hunger Games- and I think after 4 movies people are kind of over that. But purely my 2 cents. It could just be me!!!

      Agree with Ckharper about the games being conducted under the aegis of the Catholic Church.? That makes it a hard sell,

      I like the sound of this, but I was wondering if you could increase the stakes if the cleric has to try and rescue others as well? (Otherwise, he/she comes off a bit selfish imo!)
