I like the idea of 3 childhood friends who were “bad boys” who are now challenged w/ doing the right thing. Can you add some detail about their reputation. And why do the terrorist attack a small town? What’s their goal?

      Hi Ben,

This reminds me of RED DAWN. I think you just need to lean it out a bit and get it down to 25 words. Something like…

When terrorists attack a small town, three childhood friends must help a group of fellow-citizens to escape by escorting them to a nearby mountain before they are killed.

Regardless – I think yours is a good working logline before you start the first draft.

      Hi Guys,
First of all, thank you for your comments. Valid points.

How about one of these, though?

1- Three outcast childhood friends lead the residents of their small town on a perilous journey to save them from attacking terrorists who believe they are infidels, want to kill the men, and use their women as sex slaves.

      OR

2- Three outcast friends lead their town’s residents on a perilous journey to save them from terrorists who scheme to enslave their women for the sex trade
