When a small-minded lord evicts every fairy-tale creature in the land into an ogre’s swamp, in a world where rescuing a princess is a chore to be delegated to whoever wins a tournament, a monster who wants only to be left alone must escort a dragon-guarded bride to her wedding with a talking donkey for company, before he discovers what she has been hiding at sunset and hands her to someone else.
