    I like the concept. Perhaps try something like this ?"A middle school rock band is awarded a coveted spot in the school's variety show, only the band is a total fake. Now they must learn to play or face the music."

    This is very intriguing. ?Murder Mysteries are nothing new but the addition of a Sci-Fi element gives it something special. ?I am drawn the the character and can already get a sense of the desperation she might feel as she fights to clear her name.
