    But what’s at stake?

    A young man (protagonist) leads (action) his oddball family (antagonists) and their real-estate-development business (goal) following a securities-fraud fiasco that put the father in jail (stake).

The thing I am aiming at, although I can see it is not expressed well in the logline, is that the protagonist is mid 30's and has made it to middle management. He is the Set Decoration HOD.     The thing I am aiming at, although I can see it is not expressed well in the logline, is that the protagonist is mid 30’s and has made it to middle management. He is the Set Decoration HOD. And while Ivy League educated, his pompous, overly theatrical antics (mixed with copious amounts of pot ) thwart his ambitions to rise above the line to become the director or producer he feels entitled to be. However I see his character close to Michael Scott – The Office. A somewhat loveable looser. The comedic series idea is called “Below The Line”
