Although the story is unclear, I like the building blocks i.e.? in spite of her great achievements and in spite of the fact that she works for the most world’s powerful military machine, she is a fearful of one man – her estranged husband. I’m not sure if that is where you are coming from,? but I think there is potentially rich material there.

The biggest question I have is: how can her husband threaten her while she is on a submarine? Does he get on the submarine somehow? Is he a navy officer under her command?

“When he discovers his father will be fired as coach if he doesn’t bring home a championship, a popular quarterback must rally his good looking and talented team to beat the scruffy, overachieving, underdogs that, every year seem to defeat them in the final game.” -Overdogs-

Great idea, with huge comedy potential. My only suggestion is to think about what his internal journey will be (i.e. how the quarterback will change). I don't know if that necessarily needs to be in the logline, but something you need to think about.

I like the idea, but agree with most of the comments above that you need to be more specific. I think that you should focus on how he can overcome his limitations. Is there an event, is there something he wants, something he achieves etc. that will show us that he has overcome his limitations?
