In Act 1 they are investigating why the aliens simply abandoned the war that was virtually won. And when they discover the reason, they are forced to come up with an audacious plan to try to save the earth and consequently the solar system.
In act 2 they put the plan into practice and with the help of the few allied aliens who stayed with the humans.
I wanted to use the phrase After aliens abandon an imminent victory against Earth, precisely to arouse this curiosity, and show that it’s not just another movie about aliens vs. humans. But the fact is that the war is not explained in detail in the film, but the land was devastated by aliens and it is in this setting that the film begins.
I can’t say what they’ll do to stop the Earth’s extinction because that’s the big secret of this movie. And I think, in my humble beginner’s opinion, I don’t need to say that in the logline. One example is the Matrix movie record line. It just says that a hacker joins rebels in a battle against their your controler. But at no time does the author mention in the logline that his controlers are the machines of the future and that in order to join the cause he needs to be awakened from the matrix…
Maybe with this information, you can help me simplify the logline, and at the same time not make it so simple, that it just looks like a sci-fi movie of humans versus aliens, which in my opinion is passionate about what I’m doing, no It’s.
