It certainly gives us more in terms of drawing us into the story. Does he have to locate the artifact because the demon can't? Is it the demon that wants this artifact? I'm a little confused as to what the artifact will have to do with everything so think you need to add that in, like if the demon fails to get the artifact will he kill the fiancee?
