When a disgraced journalist is hired to solve a forty-year-old disappearance, he must team up with the hacker who investigated him.

Longer logline

When a libel conviction leaves a journalist ruined and a rich old man offers him the evidence to fight back in exchange for solving a girl’s disappearance four decades cold, in a world where the family on the island all had reason to want her gone, a reporter out of his depth must work with a tattooed hacker under state guardianship, before whoever has been posting pressed flowers every year notices them looking.
