Following a change in Government policy, a former College of Higher Education is now a new University. However, with an ageing staff profile of academics that don’t like teaching and can’t actually do research, the University struggles to attract and retain students. The business school is staffed with ex-graduates of the former College, with most having no experience in the real world. The new Dean is tasked with turning things around, not knowing that there are few resources, little support, a staff resistant to change, and his sociopathic boss hates the business school and plans to close it.

Hi MARKAFARRELL,
Reading the logline and synopsis, this is what I see:
When a business school’s deputy Vice-Chancellor plans to shut down the establishment, a newly hired inexperienced dean struggles to save the school, and attract students despite the lack of proper resources and support.
If so, use this as a template and re-write.
Good luck
I hope this helps.
