“In the dark world of drug trafficking, a cold-blooded dealer sends a devoted couple to Colombia to pay off her debt with a twist and turn ending.”
Cool! The cold-blooded dealer is female. Nice going against the cliche. I like it.
And Sally did a great job putting it into one sentence.
My question: who is the hero? I guess it is ‘the couple’ but even then I would like to see a single hero unless we understand what the difference is between the two characters.
There is a clear goal: to pay off the debt. But I’d like to understand how they’re going to do this. What do they need to do in Colombia exactly? This will determine what we can expect from this movie.
I would also rewrite the logline from the perspective of the main character if possible, and include the Inciting Incident, answering the question “what got them into this situation?”
Male drug dealer and the lead female is the hero.
Carol (lead) owes the loan shark and in return will smuggle drugs out South America.
