Who or what is forcing the man to deal with having two brothers sounds like an important element in the story.
For instance, does he need a transplant, and thus is forced to deal with two siblings he has never known?
Is it his mother’s dying wish that he get to know the two siblings he never knew.
What specifically is forcing him to have to deal with these siblings?
When a man who thought he was orphaned discovers he has two brothers a family with a troubled history, he must….
Well, what must he do?? What becomes his objective goal?? ?The logline sets up a situation for a plot.? What’s the plot?
The idea sounds interesting, but there should be some compelling objective.

How does our protagonist and supporting characters grow throughout the story?
What’s at stake?
How does he discover this family? Inheritance, funeral? Did they know about him? What kind of family is it and what situation does it cause for him?
