4 words: You. Have. My. Interest.

      But now… the logline!

This the ‘Bears on a Battlestar’ version of ‘Snakes on a plane’ but you still need to convince us there is a story.

What you wrote above was more like a tag line, what ends up on the poster. In order to convince someone to read the script, you need to convince that person with one sentence that you’ve managed to extrude a story from that bare (or bear) idea.

So do read the tips on this site and see what you can come up with. Remember: a good movie is always about (a) character(s) wanting to achieve something difficult.

I completely agree with Karel – you can grab attention in a handful of words, but you haven’t yet convinced me that there is a 2-hour movie worth sitting through. Show me the hero, the villain and the conflict – and make it as unique as it can be. THAT is a logline that would get me to pay up!
