The story is told from the boy’s POV. ?And it’s a two part story.

1]Living in captivity in a 10×10 shed. Objective goal: escape the 100 sq foot world of the shed.
2]Living in the outside world. ?Objective goal: adapt to the infinitely greater and more complex world outside the shed.

The inciting incident? ?When his mother, fearing further privations and their ultimate survival.(finally) devises a scheme to escape. ?That doesn’t happen until after the 1/2 hour time mark in the film.

The film was adapted by Emma Donoghue from her own novel, so one could say the concept was pre-tested, pre-sold as a book.

I haven’t seen it, any good?

I remember reading about it and thinking that It sounds very similar to Bad Boy Bubby.
