Problem: the lead character must save his family estate.
Answer: marries a reserved London Lawyer
Problems solved.
Where is the conflict and who is standing in the lead character’s way?
Thanks for the feedback. The aristocrat’s brother dies and the antagonist s the widow who thinks she will take over the estate on behalf of her teenage son. The saving of the estate is not certain, so hundreds of years of family history will be lost if it has to be sold.
Revised logline:
A longlost second son returns for the reading of his brother’s will to find the family estate is failing and the only way to try and save it is to abandon his life overseas and enter a marriage of convenience – again the wishes of his brother’s widow.
