Is this for an animated film — or a CGI-faux-real-life film?

How marketable is a story where the hero, the star, the protagonist, is an android? ?How exciting will it be to watch a film where humans are relegated to roles as the supporting cast and hapless victims??

      I am dubious.

I think the action is vague. How will he fight the federation? What will he do? Will he take control of their biggest space ship? Or hack their central computer?

DPG mad a good point, perhaps the android needs a human ally that will aid in the efforts to fight the federation.

An “obsolete android” may read better, yet isn’t really unique. I would also recommend dropping “a powerful federation of androids” since we already mention android once already, and then replacing this antagonistic force with a different adjective. Would need to know more about the story to suggest one, however.
