The sentence doesn’t make much sense, and as DPG pointed out, the premise is confusing.

After your explanation, it sounds like this is a work written in prose – short story, book, or novella. It needs to be adapted to screen if it’s to work in a logline. Whom, of the couple, is the main character in the story? The teenage boy or girlfriend?

No typos, I cut and pasted from the original author (my friend).

The rose is the magical element from a supernatural garden maintained by an oracle-type of lady who narrates the story of a couple that is torn apart by a supposed accident secretly caused by an overzealous character (rose) and then the story resumes later in their lives after the cast of magical icons (cat, bees, etc.) make amends by reuniting the lost relationship of the hopeless couple.

It combines live characters with digital anime.

I can see where you have some confusion. “He gives” should probably be changed to “it’s given to her”. And “years later, the ‘rose’ tries to make amends…”

Is there a typo or two in the logline?? Because I’m not able to sort out the logic.? He (somehow) hurts her… and then tries to make amends by “helping find his perfect match” (??)

Who is helping who find what?? And what was the tragedy that precipitates his need to make amends?
