I feel like we have the main thrust of the story, but it’s incomplete. The questions left unanswered for me are – WHY is he doing this? What sets him off that this is the course that he chooses he must take? What has made him so desperate for his ratings to improve? What is the inciting incident?
And he’s an unsympathetic character.
