After an agoraphobic bestseller-author meets a famous actress to work on a film-collaboration, he is forced to leave his house for PR dates in order to overcome his fear in public.

The line and story are okay. The punctuation makes it hard to read. The PR dates are not arranged to cure his argophobia, they are PR for the film I am guessing. But that isn’t how it reads.
