Who has the Monster Hunters Union wronged? How have they been wronged? I think we may need a little more information about the world… there are people who hunt monsters, but also people have ownership over monsters like they are pets? In terms of the characters in the story, what’s the connection between the two?

Does this end up being a dog-fighting type thing just with monsters?

Who is the protagonist? What is the event that kick-started this story? What goal does this set up for the protagonist?

Many of your loglines give us a premise but lack a story within that world. I think this is a shame, because some of the worlds you create are interesting. A logline needs that story – that’s simply what a logline is.

      Hope this helps.

In a story, you have a lead character

Something happens to that lead character

This causes the lead character to have a goal.

However, achieving that goal isn’t easy because something stands in the lead character’s way.

      Who is the lead character?

      What do they want?

What is standing in their way?
