      >>>in cells

      In separate cells, I presume.

But why? Do they know why they have been imprisoned, why they will be killed if they don’t solve the puzzle?? And why would whoever has imprisoned not kill them off anyway if they succeed?? What’s the villain’s purpose in subjecting them to this ordeal?

We can figure stuff out here.? But there seems to be a lack on connection to all the elements that I think would make a great logline.

We dont’ need to know that they have just woken up, so you can save some words there.? Plus it isn’t clear that they are in separate cells. Plus the switches play a part in the story how?? The count down clock?

I am going to try and tie this together.

Two inmates in adjoining isolation cells have 12 hours to solve figure out the correct combination in a twelve switch array to open their cells and escape their execution.

I had to guess the reason for the count down.

      Saw with switches…

What is it about the cell they wake up in that makes it scarey? What’s the danger they face?

Also, what’s unique about these particular characters?
