An alien living as their friendly neighbourhood mechanic, must prevent his beloved street from getting sold block-by-block before the greedy billionaire visits his garage

Our protagonist is a well meaning extraterrestrial, whose only goal is the safety of his eggs, currently hibernating underneath his living room

(shouldn’t it be in the logline?)

It’s a sci-fi comedy, since he can become anything and will use his camouflage to secure his race

Title: Egghead??

egghead is a nice title. Would indicate a comedy a bit more to me. ?”their” friendly throws me — who is “their” referring to? ? I’d stick to “the friendly.”

Block-by-block is also overkill for me. ?Can you come up with a better more nefarious description than billionaire? ?Greedy developer? ?friendly and beloved ?serve the same purpose for me in regards to his affection for his neighbors.

      Idea:

A shapeshifting alien, living as the friendly neighborhood mechanic, must prevent his block from getting sold before the greedy developer discovers eggs hibernating in his garage. ?

I like this – a familiar type of plot but with a twist that gives it an extra level of jeopardy that we immediately understand. If he can change his appearance I’d want that information in the logline (so “A shapeshifting alien…”). And could you include what he’s hiding in the garage that’s going to give him away (his eggs?) , especially if that explains his purpose in coming to Earth?
