“Accidentally stealing the identity of a quiz show host, a cannibal eskimo gives the audience more than what they could chew.”
Gold. Pure gold. Anyone who kills, eats, and then impersonates a game show host has got me completely on side. The new host of course should get the highest ratings of all.
Just get the Coen brothers to direct, and I’ll purchase my ticket. 🙂
I love it, great title.
It’s a great pitch but I’d like to see just a little more detail about that second act.
In fact what we have is, what I believe to be the Inciting Incident:
“An eskimo with a thirst for human flesh accidentally steals the identity of a popular quiz show host.”
And what follows is really more a tag line.
This sounds great fun and intriguing, count me in to watch it! I would, however, agree with Karel in that it tells us up until the inciting incident and we need to know a little more in terms of what his actual goal is. Is it to get back to being an eskimo? Is he going to rig his game shows for his friends? We need to know his goal and obstacles to understand where it will be going.
The last part is funny! I don’t see the connection between “flesh eating” and “accidentally acquiring the identity”. Sounds like basis for two different plots. If you could connect them, e.g. “A soul sucking Eskimo gets his cumuppance when he is possessed by the identity of his latest victim…etc.”. Action and consequence. Otherwise, has great Killer Tomato potential! Future cult hit 🙂
