      A logline is a brief synopsis?of a story.

A? logline has a lead character described in to or three words (for example: An uptight banker)
Then something happens to the lead that disrupts his (or her) life. (His wife leaves him for being too boring)
This causes the lead to have a specific and well-defined goal. (He decides to prove to his wife he is not boring by starting a rock band)
But there is conflict because someone or something is standing in the way of the lead character achieving their goal. (The band sucks and they only have two weeks untill they play a gig his wife will be attending)

So now I am looking at your logline for a short story and the question is:
Who is the lead character? What do they want? And what is standing in their way?
