      Hi Helise,

I’m afraid that a biopic about the two major leaders of Women’s lib in the america of the XIXe Century is not a very popular topic around the corner (no blood, no murder, no postapocaliptic world, no aliens…).

That being said, it is matter for a good and interesting story.

About the title : I don’t like it because it can give rise to confusion (they where not marxists).
Something better would be the title of Elisabeth Stanton’s book “The Women’s Bible”, or “Not for Ourselves Alone” wich is the main title of a documentary by Ken Burns (Not for Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton & Susan B. Anthony, 1999)(*)

About the logline: it is still to be written

About the story and its target: I don’t know what you want to do. Here is my own opinion:
      – Women’s rights battle is part of History and is eclipsed in the collective unconscious by the Black power and the Civil rights movement battle of the late 50′ and 60′.

So I think it would not be a big idea to deal with it in a militant way or as a docu-fiction.

A conventional three-acts-movie biography with deep shaped characters, with place for their relatives, their family lifes… would be a better way I think.

I hope this would be useful.
I’m waiting for your logline. 😉

I would like to see why they had a strong desire to cause change. Were they victims of discrimination themselves? Did they suffer humiliation at the polling place, and in the legal system? Did they run into verbal and physical abuse when they tried to change the world? Many of us are not up to speed on their history. My story also lacks blood, aliens, etc. I think we can still write captivating stories without them. Not every movie has to appeal to overgrown, immature boys.

      Hi mulford sibly

I assume that your logline is not part of the most polpular genres! 😉
I would like to read it but as we cannot search by author’s name, I don’t know where it is.
Can you tell me it and the date you post it please? 🙂
