      This made me want to watch it again!!
      It’s not clear here who the protagonist is. It also sounds like they turn rivals so they can create the ultimate stage illusion (together?) but in actual fact as a result of turning rivals they are trying to outdo each other with who has the more impressive stage illusion.
      I would pick one of them as the protagonist (who has the biggest arc/revelation?) and you might be able to make it more specific and hint to the intriguing nature of the film by following the story from one perspective.

      Thank you for your review and comments. ?I looked at it from the point of view of both the protagonists. In this story, it really depends on the perception ?of who you want to regard as the protagonist because of the intense rivalry between the two main characters.

      That?said, what do you think of this?

      When a stage magician is accused of neglect, he goes solo and must learn his former friend turned rival?s secret to gain?upmanship.
