      How about:
When a troubled writer falls for a girl and they move in together but she takes a job in another country he must decide to let resolve his (jealousy) or let her go.
If you study the above formula for a logline it will fall into place.

Thanks, the thing is that its not a movie about a guy meets girl and decides to conquer her, its a movie about an arrogant guy that meets a girl and he starts seeing his own flaws when he starts to loose her, and everything.

        Thank you!

What is the main goal of the protagonist, and what is standing in his way?

Thanks to this questions i wrote it a little bit differently. Thank you.

The main goal of Santiago is to become a better man, but his own demons, fueled the devastated context, keeps bringing him down. He lacks self-awareness, and is not until halfway of the story that he realizes that he’s gonna lose his chance in life if he doesn’t step up. But maybe his chances are already gone?
