I love it. Sounds like the type of movie I would see. Great job of incorporating everything into the log line.
Thank you! That’s very kind. I only hope I can write a screenplay to match its expectations.
I’m hoping to have it ready to possibly be the last vehicle for stars like Dick Van Dyke, Carl Reiner, Betty White, and Don Rickles to perform in. I’m trying to tap into the “over 65” market, especially in the area of talent.
Love the casting choices too. Although I’m sure Rose Marie is still around too! 🙂
Gee, totally complete, you have it all. You have captured the protagonists, the objectives, the obstacles, the climax, the visual outer journey and a hint of humor. Great logline but can you even somehow add why young people should see it? “Nursing home residents band together with their beautiful young nurse to…and the same thing”
I was toying with “skater thugs” at one time. Might go back to that. That would hint at some actor’s under thirty being in it, I suppose. Good idea!
I think it sounds interesting too but I wonder if mentioning 3 different antagonists and 3 different goals dilutes the power of the central message. Maybe not. I agree with Vinay… “a rebellious gang of geriatrics is led by an aspiring nursing student against a Gordon Gekko type corporate raider intent on bulldozing their home…”
