Revising an earlier version.

In a long-suffering hockey town, the most vocal caller to sports talk radio must to turn all his talk into action when the team’s frustrated owner decides to make him general manager.

This just crossed my eyeballs: The most vocal caller is the team’s muted mascot. A guy who nobody has seen (came to the audition and all games already suited up) A great skater that can play the ‘clown on skates’ who looks like he’s always about to fall down. Being the mascot would give him insight to team problems that the fan in the seat wouldn’t have. That he also likes the anonymity of radio is a key to his character.
Anyway, just a thought. Useless if you’ve already written the thing. Hopefully helpful if you haven’t.
