>>>must decide
Loglines are about what happens AFTER the protagonist decides. Loglines are not about whether to decide, when to decide, if to decide, needs to decide, must decide.
Loglines are about an end of 1st Act decision that creates an objective goal and a course of action to achieve it.
Loglines are about the dramatic goal — not the dramatic dilemma.
What is the mogul’s objective goal? ?Not his dilemma, but his goal.
ALL ABOUT STEVE ?-
When a tiny, independent movie studio is on the verge of collapse, the selfish president is forced to give the reins of his passion project to a world-reknowned, insane director. Now he’s got has 50 days to save the studio, his sanity, and finish the film in time for Cannes.
Agreed with DPG.
Also, the connection between the crazy director and movie mogul is unclear. In other words, the causal connection between the events in your story is weak, why must the mogul do what it is he does?
Secondly, the stakes seem low, what’s the worst that would happen should he fail?
