      I don’t see how this story idea differentiates itself from “Boy Erased” (2018).? The latter is more specific about the boy’s predicament, and has a? more compelling inciting incident — the pastor deliberately outs his son.? And “Boy Erased” confronts the son with a more specific and interesting dramatic problem: the father sends him to a conversion camp.?

      And “Boy Erased” is also based on real people, real events.
