      Could lean this out…

When a small town is terrorised by an escaped killer, a married couple teams up with the mysterious new priest – who urges the devil is among them.

-I keep thinking “working class” and “small” is redundant somehow. Same with “married”. But they do conjure up the right images.

      INTENTION: Stop the murders.

      OBSTACLE: It’s the devil.

      Some ideas…

They team up with the creepy priest who during Act 1 continuously harasses the husband to “confess”.

The priest who they are continuously unsure of is somehow killed during the midpoint.

Also, I was thinking the Married Couple is “haunted by supernatural happenings” – so have more of a goal. More of a reason to go to the priest for an explanation.

A family man teams up with a priest to stop the ghost of a murderer ? a man whose death he is responsible for, and who is bent on revenge.

      – My previous logline for this. Actually might be more of a plot point as opposed to logline.
