I like your description of what you want from your story, I didn’t get all that from the logline. So from a story perspective, I do think this works. However,
Just curious, but what is the main conflict of the story?
Given the genre, what’s the seemingly insurmountable obstacle or wedge issue?? I think it ought to at least be implicit in the logline.? And I don’t see one.
Also, is he a? steadfast character?? I? mean he already seems to be doing the right thing.? So I don’t see the potential for his having a character arc? — unless he flips from a good guy to a bad one. Not that he can’t be steadfast.? But if he is, then some other character will need to (eventually) flip.
I guess m y only concern is, can the ‘Blinddate’ show maintain for a full length movie, it feels like it is the 3rd Act, unless we cutaway to each person’s story, but then it is not about the person asking the questions.
If somehow he’d rigged the show, to get a lost love on there in the hopes of picking him over the other two, you’d naturally have conflict as he tries to win her over trying to beat the other two.
