Thanks, SQM. I saw that movie, but don’t remember the similarities. I’ll check it out again.
I think the “public” can judge thumbs up or down on some responses. It’s kind of depressing to write something, perhaps a response to a question, and have someone (you have no idea whom) come in and slam you with a negative. I think that practice is very detrimental to the overall benefit derived from the site. It certainly affected my outlook substantially…
Like it!
Reminds me of “The Missing” with Tommy Lee Jones.
Could we have thumbs up and down buttons for those who just want to make a quick comment?
And what’s with the plus and minus numbers on the side?
This is a feature film concept, but I am aware of the trends for franchise stories. With that in mind, I did leave the ending open to interpretation, but needless to say, having eternal life in a life that you are without your loved ones is not as much a “gift” as a curse.
Maybe if you reversed the order of the logline it might be more clear. So perhaps it would be “An Indian mystic “gifts” a reformed outlaw with eternal life after being left for dead by his former gang.”
Yes. During the slaughter of his family, they shot and “killed” him as well.
Guess I’ll have to work on clearing that part up a bit, while still keeping the word-count low. That’s why loglining is so hard!
This sounds intriguing. I would not like to see a lot of blood and guts with a lack of story, though. I’m also curious if he eventually returns to normal and dies. If he remains immortal, this would make for an interesting series.
Sounds interesting but I’m confused if his former gang also murdered his family. If they did, then I would make that more clear. Or I’m just daft! lol
