Great point, I never thought about it that way before. It actually makes for a very compelling log line. Although truth be told, that's not exactly how events play out. It shows we can sometimes bend the events to create the most compelling version of the logline.

If you say the teen is 'lazy', he should learn he has to 'work hard' to succeed. That way the flaw and the character growth align.

Joel has a pretty serious goal in Risky Business.

"When his parents priceless egg is stolen by a ruthless pimp, a risk-averse teen, teems with a call girl and has two days to devise a scheme to buy back the heirloom."
