When her father vanishes under suspicious circumstances, a young adolescent investigates where and why her father has gone missing despite the push from the community to leave it alone; but when she learns her father had a sketchy past and is dealing with mental illnesses she must learn to put her struggles behind her in order to work as a team with her neighbour, uncovering her father’s past actions, leading them to him.

Jovie, an opinionated 18 year old finds herself spying on her father in suspense after returning home from a 'work trip' with anger and anxiety out of character.
