Generic in what way? How would I showcase the films uniqueness? I mean, the loglines of a ton of movies don’t necessarily convey any potential unique aspects of the film yet once you see it or read the screenplay, you see that the way the story, albeit possibly familiar, is unique. Look at The Spectacular Now, for instance. It’s logline is, “A hard-partying high school senior’s life changes when he meets the not-so-typical ‘nice girl'”. Look at the perks of being a wallflower, another great film with a logline that I guess you could say hints at a generic story: ” An introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome to the real world.” neither of the loglines entirely groundbreaking but both movies were great. thanks for the feedback!
